1. Current status
merzsoft.com currently does not set advertising, cross-site tracking, or analytics cookies. We therefore do not display a banner asking you to accept cookies the site does not use.
We do use browser local and session storage for features requested by the user. These technologies are not used to build advertising profiles.
2. Technologies used
- Theme preference: local storage remembers whether you selected light or dark mode until you change it or delete site data.
- Cursor-light preference: local storage remembers whether you enabled or disabled the visual effect until you change it or delete site data.
- Visual introduction: session storage remembers that the animation was already shown during that session.
- MERZSOFT assistant: session storage temporarily preserves messages and context while you browse. It is normally removed when the browser session ends.
3. Cloudflare Web Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for aggregated technical metrics such as visits and performance. Under the service’s current configuration and documentation, this measurement does not use cookies or local storage to track individuals and is not used for personalized advertising.
Cloudflare may also process technical data needed to deliver and secure the site. See the Privacy policy for its role as infrastructure provider.
4. How to control or delete this data
You can change preferences through site controls or clear merzsoft.com storage in your browser privacy settings. Doing so resets preferences and the assistant’s temporary context.
Blocking all browser storage may prevent some preferences from working, although the main content remains available.
5. Third-party sites
Links to WhatsApp, social networks, or other services take you outside MERZSOFT. Those platforms may use their own cookies or technologies once visited, subject to their own policies and controls.
6. Future changes
If we add non-essential cookies, analytics with identifiers, advertising, or new tracking technologies, we will update this policy and request prior consent when required before enabling them.
These pages describe the general operation of the site. A signed proposal or contract may establish project-specific conditions and will govern that service.
